2018 NAB Show: Highlights of TAMURA Corporation

TAMURA Corporation (Head Office: Nerima-ku, Tokyo; President: Naoki Tamura) will put on a display at "2018 NAB Show" which is one of the largest international exhibitions of broadcasting equipment and held from April 9th (Monday) to April 12th (Thursday) at the Las Vegas Convention Center in USA.

The products that constitute high-quality audio and communication systems will be exhibited including the compact digital audio mixer "NT110" and new "NT MATRIX" of the NT Series to be exhibited for the first time at NAB. Through this exhibition the technological capability of Japanese audio makers will be delivered to the world.



【Outline】

■Audio equipment

・NT110
It is a portable mixer with 16 physical faders, equipped with 16 analog input and output and two AES input and output in the standard specification, and optional additional functions of input and output using an expansion slot. The important feature is that it has the duplexed system for the audio processing unit and the power supply in spite of its compactness. Therefore, it can be used with full confidence in a situation requiring high reliability, such as in the case of live relay broadcasting.



・NT G series
It is a new concept model of the NT Series. It has a layout-free IP compatible surface. It can be increased and/or decreased in units of 20 faders, and three types of frames can be freely combined depending on situations. Each frame can be laid out in a remote place with a star topology connection via a switching hub. Moreover, it can correspond to two-man and three-man operation with surface isolation, and therefore be used for various purposes.



・NT MATRIX
New product NT MATRIX is a versatile audio interface unit with a DSP engine. Not only distribution and routing matrix of audio signal, but also mixing and signal processing are possible. By using special-purpose application software, a proper system satisfying customer's needs can be constructed.


・NT900 22.2 Multichannel Acoustic Demonstration Room
The digital audio adjustment table, NT900, developed in collaboration with Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK), inherits the functions of the digital audio console NT Series, which is excellent in sound quality, functions, design, operability, and safety. It is suitable for production of Super Hi-Vision programs and 22.2 multi-channel audio recording and editing.




■Wireless equipment
The digital wireless intercom system, the portable digital wireless intercom system, and the FM 70 MHz send-back device are exhibited, which are dominantly used in broadcasting stations and halls in Japan.
