    • Tamura Corporation (the “Company”) and its affiliated companies (the Company and its affiliated companies are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Company Group”; a list of the companies included in the Company Group is available here) have established this Privacy Policy as follows, with regard to the handling of personal information provided by the Company Group’s customers, business partners and shareholders in order to ensure that the Company Group’s customers can have confidence in using the Company Group’s products and services, while at the same time providing consideration to the privacy of the Company Group’s business partners and shareholders.

    1. The Company Group will acquire the following personal information relating to its customers, business partners, shareholders, etc.:
    1. Information relating to customers and business partners:
      Information such as name, address, telephone number, email address, company name, department, position, transaction details, purchase history, etc.
    2. Information relating to shareholders:
      Information such as name, address, telephone number, email address, bank account, etc.

    1. To carry out services pertaining to contracts between customers or business partners and the Company Group, including reviewing, executing and performing such contracts;

    3. The Company Group may jointly use personal information provided by customers, business partners, shareholders, etc. (collectively, the “Customers”).

      The Company Group jointly handles Customers’ personal information for the purposes specified in Section 2 above.

      The Customers’ information specified in Section 1 above.
    3. Scope of Joint Users
      The Company Group and Novel Crystal Technology, Inc.

    4. The Company Group shall not provide or disclose Customers’ personal information to third parties without the Customers’ consent, except in the following cases:
    1. Cases in which services are entrusted to entrustees to achieve the purposes of use specified in Section 2 above.
    2. Cases based on the laws and regulations;
    3. Cases in which there is a need to protect the life, wellbeing, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the Customers;
    4. Cases in which there is a special need to improve public wellbeing or promote the healthy development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the Customers;
    5. Cases in which there is a need to cooperate with a national government organ, local government, or person entrusted thereby with performing the functions prescribed by the laws and regulations, and obtaining consent from the Customers is likely to interfere with the performance of those functions; and
    6. Other cases permitted by the laws and regulations

If any Customers wishes to make a request for disclosure or other handling regarding his/her personal information (meaning notification of the purposes of use, request for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use of such personal information or provision of such personal information to a third party), please contact us through this form. Further, if any Customers wishes to file a complaint regarding the handling of his/her personal information by the Company Group, such Customers is requested to contact us through this form.

    6. The Company Group shall take necessary and reasonable measures to protect the personal information it handles in order to ensure that there is no unauthorized access, loss, alteration, leakage, etc. The measures taken by the Company Group for managing the security of the personal information include the following:
    1. Establishment of a Basic Policy
      To ensure the proper handling of personal information, the Company Group has established its Personal Information Protection Regulations; and

    7. The Company Group shall comply with relevant laws, regulations and other norms, and shall also strive to continuously improve and enhance its efforts to protect personal information in response to changes in the social environment.

    Supplementary Provisions for Oversea Residents



    • In addition to privacy policy, these supplementary provisions (“Supplementary Provisions”) shall apply to the processing of personal data (hereinafter, “Personal Data”) that identifies or can identify customers, shareholders, applicants, and others (hereinafter, “You”) who provide their Personal Data to us, residing outside of Japan. If provisions differ between these Supplementary Provisions and the aforementioned privacy policy, these Supplementary Provisions shall prevail.

    Provision of your Personal Data to us is not statutory obligation nor contractual requirement. However, we may not be able to provide our services to you if Personal Data is not provided to us,

    We collect your Personal Data directly. We also indirectly collect Personal Data from third parties including our group companies.
